Alister SMITH

Norman & I were pleased to have met Alister during his visit to Co.Cavan Eire, He was a source of knowledge re Rountree geneology, we had a cup of tea together at our home in Drumnatread and he since sent us the photos and info re 'drop box'.It is good to have met hime and our sympathy to his family,

An incredible man with such passion for Life. So glad he made it to Ireland to find his roots,

We greatly enjoyed the day spent with Alistair(July 2014)when he showed us what was left of Christchurch. I met Joyce his mother in 1973-we shared a common Rountree descent-albeit distant. Sincerest sympathy to all his family

I only just met Alister in May on a beautiful European cruise. He was a lovely man who was enjoying his travel and meeting new people. What a warm man he was.
