To the Durocher Family, we send our deepest sympathy. We have known Allan since he was a teenager, and have many fond memories of times we spent together.
He was a kind, thoughtful, and caring person, who always had a kind word for everyone and a laugh that was contagious.
He left this world much too soon, and he will be missed by everyone.
God Bless.
Jackie and Marv.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Allan's children, brothers and their respective families.
Allan, forever upright and fine in all his ways and a better man one could not fine to the end of his days.
I will always remember our childhood together playing with your brothers and sister and my sisters and brother on the grounds of St. Thomas Aquinas school & church, the fun but most of all the laughter we all shared.
A heartache, A tear. We only wish you were here.
Loving cousin Joan and Ron

I had the opportunity to convey my sympathy to the family of Allan.
I must say that at today's celebration, I was very moved. There was the sharing of family members, the songs of the Beatles and Supertramp. For this gathering time, there has been plenty of room for people to express memories and thoughts. The ceremony made us cry and laugh!!! It was at Allan's image. I was touched by the writing of a note to be put in his coffin. A symbolic gesture that I did not know and gives the opportunity to share one last message that he takes with him.
Allan has worked more than 15 years at the Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre. The past 3 years, he was at the West Island facilities of the CLRC. It is a small team of 5 guys in the shop and less than 10 health care professionals.
He loved his work and was truly appreciated by all (NDG and Kirkland staff).
I'll miss my weekly discussions with him. I think the meeting between the family members and work colleagues that we had, allowed us to put together some pieces of the puzzle to better know who he was. Thank you for the macaroni soup!
Allan was a great guy and he had his own way. Farewell Allan! Hope you can still watch hockey from where you are!

Allen...I will miss you and your booming laugh...we met at the Reddy Mamorial, you were a cook, I was food service, I had 2 huge cans of fruit in my hands, chest high and asked you, "How do you like my Cans ?"...Well the roar of laughter that shot out of you scared me at first and then I saw a man that appreiciated a joke and laughed with a gusto that I had never heard before...We shared many more laughs on the trip through the Atlantic Provinces...Always when I thought of you and your laugh, it made me smile and I am Shocked that you are gone!!!
My sincere sympaties to to Allan's family...Hazel

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of my Uncle who brought such fun and laughter to all those who knew him. From the many stories he told and the board games we played during my childhood years to his witty sense of humour experienced at family gatherings or just over a bowl of macaroni soup, these are the cherished memories that will be a source of strength and comfort to me.
His easy going and care-free spirit is what made him unique and the reason why so many of us feel such a loss. May his infectious laugh brighten up the heavens the way it did our lives and may his spirit continue to provide joy to our loved ones.
Peace out, Uncle Allan,
Love Debbie xoxo

The sudden passing of a "free spirited" and fun loving uncle has left us heartbroken. Some of my fondest memories are: told ghost stories, neighbours on 4th avenue, family gatherings, unique choices of music, our wedding photographer, your ponytail, in a time of need, willingly lending a helping hand to his only sister and sharing a bowl of macaroni soup with family at our home over this past Christmas season. You will forever live on in our hearts and we are certain your unique laugh will be shared with loved ones and will echo throughout heaven! Miss you..........
Love & peace uncle Allan,
