Our hearts are with you. Allan´s warmth left a lasting impression on our family. We were all in awe of his accomplishments, but what we remember most is how he made everyone in the room feel, and how we always left wishing we´d had more time together. I´m so grateful to have seen him in Oklahoma and to have connected with the rest of the family. Those moments are memories we will cherish. Allan held a very special place in my dad´s heart, and we carry that closeness with us as we grieve his loss. We send our deepest love and condolences to you all, Joan, John, Lisa, Gus, Elliott, and the rest of the family.

One of the urban legends in Baden, Switzerland mentions the LCD having been discovered at the BBC Forschungszentrum Dättwil somewhen during those fntastic 70ies! Today I beleive to know who it was. Thank you for this small resumee.
Ode to one of the funniest dad's I met in my life. I still remember his generosity and his Polaroid-sketch, that brought us kids all 10 minutes of great laughter in an instant :)
Remembering Corinthians 13:
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.

Hi Lisa. Sending condolences from Chatham. Kent and I have good memories of times spent with your parents and Don and Ann McCord.
I also have things that came from Joan at Christmas touting the good things about Oklahoma. We never had a reunion after they moved west but the memories have remained.
If you should ever return to Chatham I hope you´ll look us up.
Fondly, Phyllis Stevens
