Florence my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family at the loss of Allan. He was a sweet and funny man, I loved his jokes. Will be missed. Sandi Mayer MA

I worked with Mr Knopf at Lord & Taylor in Plano in the early 80s, and enjoyed the experience. I ran into him years later at Neiman's and was happy to see he hadn't changed a bit.

I had been thinking of Allan today. He was a wonderful person and a great Managing Director at Lord and Taylor.
When we opened the Plano store, we had many years of success and many laughs. I remember when you and he where in Boston and we had a chance to visit.

I will always treasure his memory.
