In memory of
KATHIE OPPEL
October 23, 2006
IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY YOU CAME INTO OUR LIVES. WE SHARED BIRTHDAYS AND HOLIDAYS, GRADUATIONS..... YOUR'S ESPECIALLY...YOU MADE US
VERY PROUD WHEN YOU BECAME A FIREFIGHER. WE WERE VERY PRIVILEGED TO STAND BY YOUR SIDE THAT DAY. OVER THE YEARS YOUR VISITS ALWAYS TOOK US BACK TO THE TIMES OF FUN AND LAUGHTER. AS WE STOOD BY YOUR GRAVESIDE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND CHILDREN, WE TRIED TO REMEMBER THE JOY YOU BROUGHT US, TO EASE OUR PAIN. THROUGH OUR TEARS WE PRAY FOR GOD'S GENTLE HANDS TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN THROUGH LIFE AND BLESS YOU WITH ETERNAL PEACE.
WITH OUR PRAYERS AND UNDYING LOVE,
MOM KATHIE, ANGELA, ROB, MATT AND KATRINA

In Allan's children's Eyes
Someday soon, children when you look
into the starry skies a twinkle will
beckon you; Yes, that is your father.
And someday when we look into your
beautiful eyes and touch your soft
hair; we too will see your father.
For as long as we live,he will never
leave us. You with your star and the face of your father that you see everyday.
Yes, children,
Daddy is your Star.

Terry, Jake, Katie, Daniel, and Sam,
my heart and prayers go out to you as a family. Your Dad, husband was a blessing to have known. He was always one of the very first to help in the neighborhood with no questions asked, always remember our talks on the front porch, and the great recipes he shared, and loved exchanging food we had prepared. We shall always remember him fondly.

Im so sorry for the loss of Allan, its hard enough for me, and I cant even imagine how it is for you and the kids. There were so many great memories, going to Ohio and Cedar Point with you, ALlan took me to my first Ravens' game, the list goes on and on. But one of the things I will remember the most, is the day he took me to the station with him. That was a life-changing event for me two years ago! You have my number, if there is anything I can do to help just let me know. May God be with you and the kids.

Terry,
As their wives we know in the back of our mind this can happen we just never come to terms with it. Words can't even express how sorry I am for the loss you and the family have suffered. You have our number and as Mike told you, call us any time if you ever need anything.
