Carol, we were shocked to hear of Al's passing. I can remember when you met Al. You were so happy to find just the right one. Then came a cute little puppy and then children. Your life was full and filled with joy. I pray that God will put peace in your heart to carry you and yours through this difficult time.

Al shined so bright in the hospitals the past month and a half. His loving heart lit up the room. It was so hard watching the cancer destroy his body, but it couldn't touch his soul. Al remained Al throughout his whole time in the hospital. He lived life well right to the very end. I so look forward to seeing him again in the new heaven and the new earth, where we will have an eternity to make new memories. Until then, he will be missed so much! Prayers for God's peace, which passes all understanding, to comfort the Carol and the family!!!

Al was one of the truly great Servant Leaders I had the privilege to work. His leadership was a result of his kindness, loyalty, work ethic and genuine caring for others. He is home with Lord, but most certainly will be extremely missed by his family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. We were blessed to have met Al through working for Allied Mechanical Services for him at Porter Corp. Our Service Team will surely miss Him!. We've made a donation to Bethany in honor of Al. It doesn't surprise me that Al would have had a spot in his heart for such a wonderful cause!

Al loved to laugh (especially at my husband Ken's jokes) and loved coaching the Haworth Softball team. We always won, of course, because of who he was......and all the beers and pizza afterwards!!!!
