I have known Al for 45 years and have the deepest respect for him as a person and as a baseball builder! It was indeed a pleasure to be associated with Al - my sincere condolences to Woody and family.

Al was one of Canada's true pioneers of baseball, and given the outstanding state of the game today, from grass roots to high performance, we will always be thankful he was on our team! I'm so grateful that Al believed in me - he hired me at Baseball Canada. My sincere best to Woody & the family.
