Allen's 1930 Ford Model A is still on the road today. I found a plaque in the car which mentions Allen, Allen Jr and Victor Ugolik. Photos attached. I didn't know Allen but the car appears to have been restored in 1971 and still looks and drives great, 52 years later.

I can only echo what was already said. I was a part of the greater group of car guys that Tracy and Allen were a part of. I still think of all those people and remember the specific details of many of their cars. I owned the 57 Belair 210 before Allen. I will never forget the beautiful yellow paint job he put on it. We were not only fellow hot rodders but we were also did car business. He was a body and paint guy and I was an engine guy at NAPA Don´s Auto Parts. My prayers are with the Finley´s.

It was great to know Al working on his chop top and talking cars and Vacaville race way stories from way back, he gave us a hand or shared a tool with all of us at the warehouse.

Even though we all had low riders he was a hotrod guy we seem to appreciate the quality work.

Al you are already missed and thank you for being a friend. Prayers to his family and let see that chop top finished he would love that the most.

Allen was my cousin and part of the cluster of cousins in our family who were older and wiser than us "younger cousins". Our combined families had great times together, visiting each other in Vacaville, Orlando and Springfield. Yes, we did call him Tiger when he was younger but I can't remember why or where he got that nickname! I always looked up to him. As adults we reconnected during our occasional cross country trips and numerous family events. Allen was the kindest man with the biggest heart who never let you forget how much he appreciated hearing from his relatives. I loved getting a text, mail or a phone call from him. The last few years, he would also reach out to my Dad (his Uncle Bill) on his birthday, which always made my Dad's day. Allen was taken from us entirely too soon and I will greatly miss his friendship. RIP dear cousin.

One of my favorite memories was watching and listening to the rumble of the engines of the really HOTT cars that these guys spent hours working on during my teen years! Alan was one of the greats and gone too early. Going out in style though... Love and prayers to the family. Please raise a glass for me. I was an admirer of fast restored cars.

Allen was a devoted friend to the McCready family from the time we moved in across the street in 1968. He was my brother David´s best friend and a cherished member of our family. Allen was my senior prom date and escorted me in one of his restored Cadillac´s. He was a life long friend to me. His kindness and sweet nature along with his casual gate warmed all our hearts. He will forever be remembered and loved!!. May angels of peace surround the Finley family. Love Kimberlee
