I was Allen's barber in Florida. I first met him about 5 years ago at kennedy's all American barbershop where he became my client. Allen would come in twice a week for a straight razor shave and a nap lol. Allen an I became friends over the years. He was a good guy and always made me laugh. I will never forget the game we used to play at the end of his shave he would always give me a $20 tip but before he would give it to me he would pick a number from the long number on the bill and he would say something like 2 twos or 3 fours and I had to call if he was bluffing or not. We would also bet if my client Josh after him would be late or not for his appointment because more often he would be late lol. Allen was always a trip to be around. I'm Sry for you and your families loss. He will be greatly missed. I wish you and your family all the best and send my love. R.I.P Allen

First met Allen in 2021 at a barbershop in Delray Beach,FL. We admired each other stories as we both had family from Chicago. While he would visit a few times per year, we had appointments either before or after each other. Always nice to see him smiling and telling me about his family.
I appreciate opportunity meeting and seeing Allen, he was like a grandfather figure.
My condolences to his family during this time

We have fun memories of eating Chicago hot dogs with him. He made all us laugh! My daughter, Rachel, loved spending time with Papa. Thinking and praying for all of you
