Allen was as fine a person as I´ve known. He helped more people than anyone will ever know, unobtrusively and in ways small and large. Michael and I cherish his memory and send our love to his wonderful family.

A lot of memories for sure! When I was about to get my drivers license Uncle Alan let me drive is Corvette down Plano road! I´ve never forgotten it... WOW what an awesome memory. Thank you for being there for me and Tom. You will be missed!

Allen was often at our house in the 50's playing basketball and hanging out with my older brothers,
Allen and Ronnie....he was a fixture at our home. He was always smiling, cracking jokes, but always respectful of my parents and others...He and I crossed paths when he was buying properties when I was working for an S&L in Garland in the seventies.
Fun and endearing guy. We will all miss him.

McClure as I always called him was one in a million. Although I hadn´t seen them for quite some time, I will never forget he and Kay as I have some of the fondest memories. Rest In Peace, dear friend.

Ed and I were so very blessed to get to know Alan and his family down at the lake over the past 12 years.
He always had a smile on his face, but most of all you could see how much he loved his wife and family.
God blessed us the day Alan and his loved ones become our neighbors down at Baywood Estates.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the McClure family.
Love Sherry, Ed, Heather and Alison

Kay and family, my deepest sympathy. Allen made going to the State Fair way back yonder so much fun. My heart goes out to you.

Allen was my cousin and favorite relative. One time when visiting from Sanger he took me to the DMV in Dallas to take my driver's test. Fortunately I didn't have my Driver's Ed certificate with me, because I was terrified of taking that test in Dallas! I never got to see him enough, but he was always there for me when I needed legal advice. My deepest sympathies to his family. With Allen passing, I've lost the last close relative I had from my childhood.

LOL, but all I can think about is how dad and Allen have figured out all of the bike trails and adventures in Heaven. I bet if there is a bargain there, they have found that too!
Allen was so fun, smart and funny!
GREAT MAN!
Prayers for y´all!
Carolyn

Most of my memories involved me helping him gathering leaves and cleaning. As the oldest granddaughter, him and I spent the most time with him and I will always remember that his smile would light up every room in was in. He was my favorite grandfather and I will tell my kids about their great-grandfather. He was an amazing person, and he will be remembered forever.
