ALLEN NODWELL Obituary
Loving husband of 60 years of Nancy (Wallace) and cherished father to Keith (Kim), Eileen (Dave) Parkinson and Diane (Andrew) Lillico. Loved by his grandchildren Mark (Ally), Shawn, Justin, Amanda, Marisa (Justin) and Adam and great grandchildren Aiden, Arya and Bauer. Survived by sisters Myrtle Cutting, Wilma MacDonald, Florence (Fred) Overland, Marie (Paul) Hurd, Laura Cook and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Robert Harvey and Evelyn Nodwell, and siblings Eva Geard, Rosa Lyness, Helen McPherson, Elgin, Robert, Howard, John, Gordon, Harvey and Mildred Beirnes.
Our sincerest appreciation to Dr. Lee and the staff at The Elliott and in particular the Wellington floor unit for their excellent care provided to Allen in his final years.
A public visitation was held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 1-4 pm. A private service was held at on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. Private interment followed at Huxley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Allen's memory can be made to the Elliott Community, Dublin Street United Church or charity of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Allen B. Nodwell in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
