Dr. Allen L. Pelletier

A physician and educator with great imagination, innovation, and vision. He has been sorely missed by students and colleagues alike.

Today I joined colleagues at Augusta University in a Memorial Moment of Silence for those members of the community that we lost in the last year. Allen was an exceptional colleague and is much missed. I am grateful to have known him and for the opportunity to have learned from him.

Deeply sorry to hear this news. Blessings to you, Marge, and all your family.

What a humble "Angel" God has recruited. Gonna miss you "Doc". The very best Physician I've had thus far. Rest on!!

Dr. Pelletier was as kind and humble a man as any I have known, his love for the Lord and his family was evident, as was his dedication to the students of the Medical College of Georgia. I had the pleasure of working with him for several years. He was a special person who will be missed by many. I will be praying for his family during this very difficult time.

Memories of Alan, as I used to call him while I was working at Egbe Hospital in Nigeria, 192-94, working as lab technologist. It was a pleasure to work with him and also get to know his family. My condolences to Marge and the family.

Alan was a great man of God and a very kind spirit. I will miss our conversations. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

Dr. Pelletier was an excellent professor and a caring mentor. I will really miss him and I pass along my deepest condolences to Ms. Marge and the rest of his family. I truly treasure all the memories I have with him, especially his detailed and interesting stories, and though I only knew him for a short time, he made a big impact on my life and I will always remember him.

It was a privilege to serve with such a great physician and educator, who had such great wisdom to share with students and faculty alike. He will be deeply missed. I pass on my deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

So sorry to hear! We are so glad to have gotten to know him while we were in and out of Augusta and 1st Pres during missions conferences. Such a delightful and humble servant of the Lord who had such a heart for missions.

Amazing man and Doctor. I had the pleasure of working with him in family medicine. He will truly be missed. Prayers go out to his family.

I have many wonderful memories of Dr Pelletier. He was a champion to his patients and a leader to his residents in training. He was loved by his family and he treated his wife as a queen. We should all be so lucky. You were loved and you will be missed. Peace be with you.

Dr.Pelletier was my Dr. until he retired the end of May and he was a fine Dr.will be thinking of you and your family,I just lost my husband July 2nd so I rely on God to help myself and my family through this!

My dear colleague and one-time neighbor in Enterprise Mill has passed. Allen was totally devoted to his family and shared the best hot pretzels. He was respected by his colleagues and trusted by his charges. His patients loved him. Family Medicine has lost another giant on whose shoulders many have stood.
