In memory of
Eric Hasson

He was a fantastic friend, a great worker, and although I am to set in my ways, he was a great mentor and teacher to my Son. I missed seeing him on a regular basis after I left Gastonia. I also know how much he loved Debbie and I know she will miss him. I am in such shock as I knew I would go on before he did.

Prayers for you and your family Debbie. I was sad to hear about Allen. He has done a lot of work at Covenant UMC where I work and he did a great job. He was nice to talk with as well. May God give you peace in the days ahead.

What a kind and gentle man Allen was and still is at his new address with Jesus. I pray for his family to find comfort in his faith knowing he is in good hands and enjoying all the Good Things The Lord has prepared for him. May The PEACE that passes knowledge be known by each member of his family through The Comforter Who is near to all of them during this difficult time. Psalm 23.

I met Allen through bees. I was writing an article on bees and beekeeping for a magazine and Allen insisted I come visit a hive and help harvest honey. He did this knowing full well I have a phobia about stinging insects. Despite my nerves, Allen got me suited up and interacting with the bees, something I never thought I could do, given the level of my anxiety. But Allen had a way of calming people down, just by his presence. By the time I finished with the harvest (and actually got stung!) I felt like I had had an other-worldly experience. It was profound, actually. And when I told Allen, he just smiled, like he knew. Which he did. I don't think I've ever known anyone quite like Allen. Someone else said it's clear this man knows God because he exudes light and goodness. He was so generous with his time and wisdom, sharing freely and with delight. The world has lost a great man. My thought and prayers are with all his family and friends who will now have to navigate the world without him. Janice Booth

Mr. Thompon was a wonderful Scout Leader and Friend. A cool dad and easy with a joke and laugh. He will live on in my memories, with my condolences to his family and the Dallas community.

What a good good guy. A great friend that I have known all my life. We went to grade school, jr. high, high school, and worked together at Freightliner. And we're reacquainted through the beekeepers assn.. Always a smile and good heart. Willing to help out with my bee needs and could make me laugh without trying. God Bless The Family.
I will miss my friend.

I had only met Allen a few times through the latest beekeepers school. Immediately I knew this man knows Jesus because he exudes a kindness that's other worldly. I'm sorry I couldn't have known him longer. Continuing prayer for his family.

Please accept my condolences during this time of grief. Allen was a friend, a fellow ham radio operator and a beekeeper. He was always willing to help with any questions or problems. He will certainly be missed by many.
