Allison Driscoll Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 31, 2023.
Allison Driscoll, 64, died November 19, 2023, after struggling for several years with chronic health issues. She is survived by sister Regina Driscoll, St. Paul, MN; brother David (Patty), Spokane, WA; nieces Mackenzie and Hannah and nephew Dylan, all of Washington State. She is also survived by best friends of several decades Sharon and Sibyl; and friend, neighbor and caregiver Gigi, whose care and services enabled Allison to stay in her home for as long as possible. She was pre-deceased by beloved father Clifford (d. 1982); mother Dorothy (d. 2011); and brother Michael (d. 2015). Allison was an accomplished genealogist and compiled an extensive history for many generations of family; she was also an enthusiastic observer of birds and wildlife, enjoying in her younger years trips to many parks of the US and Canada. She was a well-informed observer of our modern political and cultural life and had a dry, very Irish sense of humor. She is greatly missed by her family and friends.

We want to thank Dr. Sufana and the staff at Vitas Healthcare/Hospice for their great kindness and care for Allison in the last weeks of her life.

There is a memorial service at 11 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Del Lago Chapel at 131 Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, FL, 33460. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather for lunch afterwards.

Allison was not only my cousin, she was a great friend, her sense of humor was quick and would have you laughing till your side hurt!
She looked into my family tree years ago, I had no idea of the things she found!
Allison also had a love of animals, like myself, and I know she is at rainbow bridge enjoy all her pets of past years and all the others too!
Also she was a cook, I don't mean just a cook, she could have worked for Gordon Ramsey or any restaurant of her choice!
I will truly miss her, but I know her health was terrible for a number of years, and now she is in no pain, and she is with her Mom, Dad and Michael, whom she missed so much with their passing.
Regina, David, and family God bless you all, I know you how close your family was, you have many great memories and one day you all will be together again.
