I only met Mrs. Nix a couple of times years ago, but she was unfailingly polite. She and her husband raised two outstanding daughters and one great granddaughter. They will miss her, but her best traits live on in them. My thoughts and prayers are with them and her husband.

Mrs. Nix was a real treat to be around. I loved sitting in her living room hearing stories and looking at pictures. Any time I was out campaigning, she would make sure I came in to visit.
My deepest condolences to Mede and Carla, and their Dad. Y'all are in our prayers.
