Lost a piece of my heart when you passed Alonzo. Condolences to the Aguirre family, your loss is immense and I cannot fathom what pain and suffering you are going through, my heart goes out to you. I feel blessed to have met Alonzo and feel more blessed to have shared and spent time with him, he was like an older brother to me and my wife Vanessa, he would often advise us on all aspects of life, he really enjoyed seeing everyone around him succeed. He is missed terribly and will always live in our memories and reneged as a great friend and mentor. I always think of him saying to me "Nombre, were Mexican we " (fill in first thing you remember Alonzo saying here), always makes me smile.

First, I would like to send my condolences to the family of Alonzo. Thank you so much for giving him to us. A shining star has left us and we must remember him for the amazing friend, mentor, father figure he was. We must celebrate his life because he is a truly unforgettable person in all of our lives. I am thankful to God for having known him and experienced his friendship. I have really grown into the man I am today because of him. My spirit is crying but I will keep my head up high because thats what alono would have told me to do. He would make sure we laughed and not cried. Thank you for your love and friendship.

Alonzo was a true teacher who loved to help and mentor people. If you were within his circle of friends, he would do anything for you. When making a donation once to help the needy he said, "Do you want to make a gesture or do you want to make a difference?" Alonzo was a generous man. Alonzo's premature passing is a statement to all of us to live life while it is ours. I am reminded of this poem:
"If you have a tender message
or a loving word to say,
Do not wait until you forget it
But whisper it today;
the tender word unspoken,
The letter never sent,
The long forgotten messages,
The wealth of love unspent.
For these some hearts are breakin,
For these some loved ones wait;
So show them that you care for them
Before it is too late"
