I was very sorry to hear of Al's death. We corresponded from time to time, and Al came to the UK to run some well-received workshops in Sheffield. He was a truly dedicated, one-of-a-kind human being.

I was privileged to know Al as colleague and psychotherapy researcher. His integrity and dedication were an example to us all.
