I enjoyed his preaching, God's word.He always had a smile on his face. Always happy.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Bishop Nelson's passing. The Nelson family made an impact on me as a very young girl and as a result, help shaped the person that I am today. I am grateful to have been part of the early ministry years. May the comfort of God help you (the natural and church families) during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My prayer for you is that the spirit of the Lord comfort and strengthen you during your time of sorrow.

May the grace of God and his tender mercies suround and strengthen your family. I have many fond memories of "Elder" Nelson throughout my childhood. His presence in the pulpit as well as his service to others exemplified God's Love.
