Barb and families, I just learned of your father's passing. He must have been very blessed to be in your care in his last years. May all the wonderful memories of both your parents always live on in your heart. Blessings, Julie (Black) Redente

Barb, Marty, and family,
These last five years have been very special, as we have come to know your dad. He was always happy, never complained, and loved being at Clarklake. We had many lovely meals and holidays with him and we will cherish the memories. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
John and Jean

My thoughts are with you in this time of loss, Marty. Although I never knew your dad, I have a sense of his nature from knowing and working with you these past 10 years. The world is a far better place for the responsible, dependable and gifted children your parents shared with us. What better legacy could we ask? Trish

I'm so sorry to see of your Dad's passing, Patty, and I'm sorry I never knew him. But if he was as kind and gentle a person as you are he was someone terrific. My condolences to you and your family. Terri Schreffler

Growing up in the neighborhood, the Schmitzer home was where I felt most a part of a family. Mr. and Mrs. Schmitzer always made you feel a part of their family. As I look back at the memories of them, they were what we as children looked up to as parents, not only to their own children, but to all of us in the neighborhood who were friends of their children. My condolecnes to all the family and I hope to see you all again some day. I lost my husband in November so understand the loss you are now feeling. " Anne (Simons) Stanfield
