Alvin Stone, you will be dearly missed, not only by members of this household, but by the many people you have helped as you sought a solution to their problems. Your tenacity in defending justice for those who could not speak for themselves, was your forte. As a former Reeve of Grattan Township, I enjoyed your company and sense of humour on Renfrew County Council.
I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to all the members of Alvin's family and to his special friend , Kaye Brisebois.

Dennis and Lorna Peterson.

Alvin Stone, was an asset to the people he helped over the years attain what they needed to do grow and move forward. I for one am glad to have known such a good man. He will be remember by many with fond blessings for what he did over the years, helping people. May he be granted peace being welcomed into the arms of God knowing he did much for many.

May your memories sustain you in the days ahead.

I had the pleasure of serving with Alvin on the FCS Board.

I will miss meeting him in the halls of the Pembroke Mall and his always friendly 'hello'!
