Alvis Paul Lee

Alvis Paul Lee, 72, of Goldthwaite, Texas peacefully passed away April 8, 2017, at the Goldthwaite Health and Rehab. He was born, raised, and lived most of his life in Mills County. Alvis was a rancher and carried the mail for 20+ years. He was dedicated to his community and volunteered countless hours. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mae Lee, his wife, Charlet Kizer Lee, his sister, Venell McQuatters, and his brother, Aldean Lee. Alvis is survived by his brother, Elbert Dwayne Lee and wife, June Jordan Lee, sister-in-law, Merlene Woodard Lee, his brother-in-law, John Richard Kizer and wife, Priscilla Jane Petterson Kizer, his daughters; Paula Annette Lee Owens and husband, Cary Lee Owens, and Tarina Michelle Lee Williams and her husband, Ryan Scott Williams. He is also survived by two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. We wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Goldthwaite Health and Rehab and staff for all the care and love they showed our dad while he was with them. We also wish to extend our appreciation to the all the people that visited our dad and comforted him with prayers and encouragement. Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on April 14, 2017, at the Star Church of Christ followed by a gathering with meal at the Star Volunteer Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to your favorite charity or a local organization.
