Alyce Caroline Mayo

I loved Columbo so much, i have seen every one of his movies, i still today continue to watch the re-runs.

Miss Mayo, you sound like a lovely person from everything I´ve read here. What a fulfilling life you must have had. It inspires me to read of your creativity, love of nature, pets, family and friends. May you Rest In Peace.

Condolences to Ms. Mayo’s daughters, family and friends. I am a Peter Falk fan (even taking foto of street named after him at his Ossining home!) and remember when my mom worked at TWA gift shop in LA and first saw him. It was around 1965-66 and there was talk of this actor starring in a new tv series! We became such fans of his and remember the photos with his wife. I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Falk’s former wife, Alyce Mayo, whom I always heard he held in such high esteem and affection. I’ve learned here of so many admirable talents and interests she had and am happy to hear she had such a fulfilled and generous life. I see why she was so loved. To her daughters, family, and friends: May you find comfort in your loving memories of her and her love for you. Thank you for all the pictures you’ve shared here which show how much she was loved. Behind every great man, there is a great woman and Alyce was Peter's woman. She helped make him who he became. I believe he always loved her and when he constantly spoke of his wife, it was Alyce that he had on his mind. She exuded class, love, joy, talent and was everything you'd want in a mom and in a wife. RIP beautiful Alyce.

May your beautiful mother's memory live eternally!!! She was such a perfect marriage for your father. It really saddened me as a teen, when I heard about the tragic divorce. She never let it defeat her. She was a devoted mother in everything that I've read. God's comfort to you both, Jaclyn and Catherine
