Deepest sympathies to your family and friends.

Alysha and I were high school friends but we sadly lost touch. Alysha had a kind and generous heart. My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family.

I had the privilege of working with Alysha when she was the teacher of the primary autism class at Cunningham. Her dedication and commitment to her students were incredible and I had great respect for her work. Her passing is a tremendous loss, my deepest sympathy for her family.

She was my teacher and she teached many autistic kids. I would never forget walking into class and going on facebook and having her scold me for doing that. She was a great person and so caring. When I first heard she had breast cancer,I couldn't believe it and I was crying. Its sad to see her go, but now she is resting and is pain free.

May God bless you and your entire family during this time. You are in my prayers.

I never met Alysha. I've only heard about her. This means that outside her circle of family and friends, there was an even bigger circle relating to her, admiring her and wishing her the best. That circle still exists. Never forget.

My heart goes out to Gavin and Mateo and Alysha's family. She will always be remembered and forever in my heart:(

I am Trevor's anut and met Alysha at Trevor and Debra's wedding. My family and I wish to share our deepest condolences to you and your precious son Matteo and all the family. Meeting Alysha I felt her wonderful, gentle spirit and how lovely she was. I am so sad to hear the news of Alysha's passing. I met Alysha at the University of Calgary and we have stayed in contact since that time. My condolences to the family and please know that there is someone grieving with you and remembering this wonderful person on the other side of the country in Twillingate, Newfoundland.

Gavin & Matteo, no words can ease your loss. Rest assured you have an angel looking over you and will comfort the both of you for eternity. My sincerest condolences to all of Alysha's family.
