Alysia Jean (Martindale) Riddle

May 18, 1981 - April 11, 2025

Alysia Jean Riddle, lovingly known as 'Aly' to her friends and family, passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 43. Born as Alysia Jean Martindale in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona on May 18, 1981, Alysia spent her childhood and much of her early adulthood in Arizona before later moving her family to Cibolo, Texas in 2014. Aly brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

For the past 13 years, Aly worked at iHeartMedia, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas where her insight, work ethic, and creativity left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company she cared deeply about.

But Aly was so much more than her career-she was a true artist at heart. Endlessly creative, she was always working on a new project, whether it was painting, crafting, designing, or finding new ways to express herself. Her artistic spirit was reflected not just in her work, but in the way she lived her life-with imagination, color, and heart.

Aly had a vibrant spirit and a heart that was as big as her laugh. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly compassionate, and had a gift for making people feel seen and understood. Whether it was through her humor, her strength, or her unwavering support, she touched countless lives in ways that will never be forgotten.

Above all, Aly was a devoted and loving mother to her son who was the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joni Evans and her father, Brad Martindale. She is survived by her son Braden Riddle; her brother Eric Martindale, and his wife Tera Martindale along with their children; and her two stepsisters, Samantha Ferch and Jessica Ferch, along with their children. She also leaves behind a wide circle of friends, coworkers, and extended family who will miss her deeply.

A celebration of Aly's life will be held at Camp Willow Resort 202 Camp Porter Rd New Braunfels, TX 78130 at 3:00pm, where all who loved her are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor the incredible woman she was.

Her light lives on in all of us who had the privilege to know her.
