Alyssa Albert Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 17, 2024.
Alyssa M. Albert, known to those who loved her as Lyssa, passed from this life on August 14, 2024, at the age of 28 in Portland, Maine. Born on June 27, 1996, in Waterville, Maine, Lyssa was a cherished member of the community and a proud graduate of Waterville High School.

Lyssa embraced the role of a dedicated homemaker with grace and unwavering commitment, providing a warm and loving environment for her three children: Kamaron, Landen, and Jalyn. Her nurturing spirit and boundless patience were the foundation of a happy and caring home.

She is survived by her mother, Stacey, and stepfather, Shawn, who will forever hold her memory dear. Her sisters, Angela (and husband Brad), Alyson (and boyfriend Tyler), and Abigail, along with her step-siblings Emily and Jake, will deeply miss her presence. Lyssa's grandfather Roland, her cherished grandparents, known affectionately as Grammie and Grammpie, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, godparents, and cousins also mourn her passing. Her special friends Sydnie, Brit, Nicole, and Ashley will remember her fondly. Lyssa is preceded in death by her father, as well as her aunt, uncles, grandmother, and friends who left this world too soon.

Lyssa's legacy is one of enduring love and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit will live on through the memories shared by her family and friends, and through the laughter and joy of her children, who were her greatest pride.

As we lay Lyssa to rest, we take comfort in the belief that she is at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. We will celebrate her life with stories of love and remembrance, ensuring that her light continues to shine in all who knew her.

I will always remember Alyssa's contagious laugh! Unfortunately we didn't get to make many memories together. The last time we hung out was when she came over to my house years ago. She was such an incredible mother, daughter, sister, and friend
