Alysson SCHNEIDER Obituary
February 28, 1981 - January 19, 2017
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alysson Frances Boyce, age 35, of Edmonton, Alberta, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Alysson was born in Craik, Saskatchewan, where she spent many days playing sports and sharing her love of singing and performing. She graduated from Craik High School and went on to receive degrees in Fine Arts and Education, and a Diploma in Cosmetology. Alysson met the love of her life, Brad Schneider in Regina and the two have resided in Edmonton for the past 10 years. Alysson touched the lives of many students as a Cosmetology teacher at Richard F Staples Secondary School in Westlock, AB. In 2013, Aly and Brad expanded their family by welcoming their daughter, Mya Sharon and two years later their son, Tristan Barry. Her love as a mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, auntie, friend and teacher will forever be cherished. Alysson is survived by: her loving husband Brad, daughter Mya, son Tristan; parents Sharon Bagwell and Duane Boyce; brothers Myles (Kirsten) Boyce and their children Jacob and Emma, and Preston (Jill) Boyce and their daughter Presley; grandparents George and Frances Heck; and stepfather, Dave Bagwell. Extended family; Barry and Vivian Schneider, Tim (Lori) and their children Kyra and Kaiden, Sheldon (Nicole) and their children Alexis and Bo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alysson was predeceased by her grandparents Gladys and David (Helen) Boyce and uncle Barry Pardell. A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina SK, on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery Indoor Columbarium. All are then invited for lunch and fellowship at the Double Tree Hotel Capital Ballroom, located at 1975 Broad Street, Regina SK. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Alysson may be directed to the children, Mya and Tristan, cheques payable to Brad Schneider. Hanson's Funeral Home of Davidson in care of arrangements.

Brad, Sharon Duane, Miles, Preston, families and friends Alysson was a beautiful young lady, I did not know her well however I do know how much Papa Dave adored her. I remember her and how pleasant she was and always making sure everyone was well looked after. I know that she will be missed by many. Although she is no longer here her memories will live on in all who knew her. Remember she is walking silently along side each one of you. For her children my heart breaks as they were unable to know her like we as adults knew her. Her loving caring spirit. Love you all.

I was Alysson's drama education instructor at the University of Alberta. I remember her coming to me with questions about careers and babies. I am so glad that she ended up with both. She was a bright student and her warm heart and dazzling smile lit up our class every day. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you all.

My condolences to Allyson's family. I really only met her shortly after the birth of Tristan. She was the most amazing person ever. I loved stopping in and seeing her and the rest of you that I met. She was always so happy, positive and strong. I can't say enough about her and I only knew her for such a short time. I can't imagine the loss you must all feel.
