News Death Notice
BOWERS, Amanda age 32 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on October 23, 1980 to Richard and Cindy (Lovejoy) Bowers. Amanda was employed at Cincinnati Financial for 14 years. She loved her dog Harley, going fishing with her fiance, and traveling to her favorite place, New Orleans. She is survived by her mother, Cindy Brehm; a sister, Jennifer Barrett; her grandmother, Barbara Mick; fiance, Billy Guthrie; aunts, Sandy Lovejoy and Ginger (Roger) Rapien; step-father, Mike (Donna) Barrett; close friends, Wilma (Mitchell) Guthrie; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Bowers; her grandfather, Paul H. Mick; her grandparents, Richard E. and Dorothy Bowers; and her great-grandparents, Dan and Helen Schultz. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to an animal shelter of the donor's choice. Manda was many things to me, but most of all, my friend. She kept my head above water when I wanted to just slip under. To her family, I know she loved you all and you are in my thoughts. Bubba, I have no words for you. Because I have been there in your shoes and I know that feeling well. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, as are the rest of her friends.
