Amanda R. Hanover

Amanda and I didn't speak much after high school. Only when we would bump into each other somewhere. I have never met Jason or the children, however, many many days later my heart is still heavy for her entire family. And sad Amanda is gone, but glad she is no longer in pain.

Amanda will always live on in our hearts and through her children

I didn't know you, Amanda, but I was touched so much when I was at your visitation, Wednesday, Feb. 15th, 2012. I am so sorry that you had so much suffering in your last two years on this earth.You certainly didn't deserve that. I knew your mother, Betty, and I feel so bad that she had to see you suffer, also. You are a beautiful person; you are a special angel in heaven looking down on your precious children and their father. Amanda and I were neighbors growing up and went to school together. I had to work and couldn't make it to the services. I am sorry for your loss. Amanda's family is in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed dearly!

Wow, Amanda I cant believe that 26 years ago, you were knee high to a grasshopper. You were a rambunctious lil girl, full of energy and joy and love for others. Then you grew up and married and I didnt recognize you. You were still filled with energy, joy, and love.... but I couldnt see that lil girl. She was inside you see it was her (childlike) faith that was starting to bloom 2 years ago. Jason loved that person, Amanda with all his heart, and the little girl was now present with 2 wonderful kids. OHHH what a full circle. Who would have thought that on your final exit from church I was at your side. Remembering that lil girl that I remember from 26 years ago..... ohhh I know I will see you again, but life on earth will not be the same because of that lil girl who touched so many lives... But your legacy will continue.... you have a family who will live it out. I consider myself blessed by the lil girl who grew up and brought a family to the house of God, to know her, love her, and the circle of life which came around for us, will connect again in heaven. For God says "I know the plans I have for you to prosper" and you are prospering today because you know Him. Honor God all who read this for if you wish to see her again, you must know Him and Follow Him... to the kids, yes that means you..... Follow God and you will see Amanda (Mom) again..... I loved that lil girl, and she blessed me Your Mom blessed me more than these words can say. God my prayer today is that this family continues to follow You and Walk in Your ways not our ways, Your plan works, and while we are absent of Amanda we must help finish Your works while we are here, Amen I love you Amanda, Jason and you kids.

Jason & Family I didn't know Amanda very well but I do rember working with her at wal-mart.She was so sweet and carring would do anything for anyone.We many not understand why god does the things he does but he had a plan for Amanda she is in and much better place rejocing with the lord she is in no more pain. The amount of people Amanda touched is overwhelming. Such a young life gone too soon for our liking, but just at the right time for God. May God wrap your family in his arms and comfort you in these sorrowful days. Know that Amanda is happy and pain free in Heaven with Jesus.

I was trying to think of my best memories of Amanda, but realized its too difficult to pick out one particular memory to share. She was a kind and loving person. Her joining her family in heaven is bittersweet for us here on earth. Bitter because we will all miss her and sweet because she is not suffering anymore. My thought and prayers go out to her children, her husband, her mom and dad, her brother and sister, and everybody else who love her. May God grant you peace and strength today and every day.

What an amazing woman you were Amanda. In the few short years that you were on this earth, you had such a positive affect on so many lives. We are all born with a purpose on earth & girl you completed yours so fast. Your work on earth was done. You completed things that most of us take a life time to fulfill. Your impact on people will live on & on. But for your husband, kids, & families my prayers will continue, cause you were loved so much & will be missed greatly. I feel like over the last few weeks I have gotten to know Amanda by what her friends were posting on facebook. I wish we could of met. I have never heard so many nice things said about one person. I didn't personally know Amanda but every time I seen her she was always so sweet and kind. My prayers are with you and your children. She is now at peace in heaven watching over her family.

Amanda will always hold a special place in my heart for her dedication as a student and an FCCLA member. She was always smiling and had such a sweet, soft, comforting voice. Your entire family will remain in my prayers.

I knew her grandma, but im so happy to know that Amanda is in heaven with my sister, Druscilla, who just passed away February 4th and was burried Saturday.

Amanda was very special person to me. I felt such a compassion toward her even before i met her in person.I remember the valentine day 3 years ago, the amazing love of God was showering upon Amanda and Jason in a very special way while we were praying. I think that was the love of God that kept you both so strong toward each other during the fights against the cancer. It really was beautiful and touched many. You both are winners! Amanda was a woman of dignity and strength all the way through the last moment still caring for others. Now she is in a place of rest with smile down on us. R.I.P Amanda. I will never forget you and your kind heart. You were always willing to listen to any of my problems and always had an open door for me not matter what the hour. You are a true inspiration to me of what a parent should be and always defined everything that a real friend should strive to be. In the meantime, I will have the honor of watching madison and landon grow up with all the values that you have left in their hearts.

I have known amanda for many years thru FCCLA as a coworker and as a friend. She was an amazing person, friend, wife, and mom!!!! my deepest sympathy for both Hanover and Silva families!!!! She is no longer suffering and is at peace now.

To the Silva and Hanover families...I can't imagine the loss you are feeling right now. I knew Amanda from Walmart and she was a sweet, kind person. It's difficult to understand why such a wonderful person had to leave everyone she loves so early in her young life. Maybe one day, when we all meet in heaven, we'll know. God bless all of you. Ive know Amanda my whole life and have been best friends with her for years. Amanda and her family took me in and let me live with them over the years and I was there up until the last moments of her life. I remember Amanda and her family as we we're growing up! I will always remember Amanda as her bedroom was full of Panda Bears! Such an amazing woman she was. She will no longer be in pain. I first met Amanda at Terra Community College, we had some classes together. At the time I thought she was a sweet, lovely, young lady. Later she married Jason Hanover who I had know for many years. In all this time over the years she still has remained one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. My prayers and heart go out to the Silva and Hanover family. I know that she will be missed but will always be watching down from heaven seeing her children grow and mature and become strong in the Lord as she was.

I am so greatful to have been bestfriends with you when we were growing up. As I think back we have so many great memories together. As we got older we drifted apart but when we seen each other we talked for hours like we had never even been apart. You were such a sweet person and I am blessed to have known you. My heart and prayers go out to the Silva and Hanover families as you will need comfort and strength today and the days to come.

I never met Amanda, but know from hearing her story from many of her friends that she left a legacy of Love, Faith, Hope, and Compassion that will never ever be forgot. May our lives be a testimony to the faithfulness that Amanda so gracefully showed the world.

I met Amanda on the first day I wen to the Church on 53. And even only meeting her and Jason once, I could tell they were full of faith in the Lord. Amanda is a special person who will be missed by her family and her church family. But we find comfort in the fact that she is now healed and is rejoicing with our Heavenly Father.

Amanda will always be in my heart...the most wonderful friend I could have blessed to grow up with. And what an eventful childhood we had! Very thankful that it was shared with her. Love and prayers always for the Silva and Hanover families.

God clearly knew what He was doing 3 yrs ago, when He blessed my life with your friendship. Never in my life have I met a more amazing person, who loved God and had true child like faith. I rejoice for you that you are now in Heaven and free of pain. I am only sad because it will be a while before I get to see you again. So many lives have been touched because of you, weather they knew you or had never met you.You were clearly a God sent person on this earth to have blessed all who knew you.
