Memorial Services for Amanda Juliet Peet, 55 of Frederick, were scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks Officiating. Inurnment was scheduled to follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Peet passed away on Monday morning, Nov. 6, 2017, at her home in Frederick.
Amanda Juliet (Clare) Peet was born on Jan. 18, 1962, in Birmingham, England to Michael and Jan Lisa (Howchin) Clare. She attended and graduated from high school in Birmingham. She later attended business school in California. Amanda worked as a clerk for a business school in California for many years.
On April 17, 2001, She and Michael Edward Rollins were united in marriage in Oxnard, Calif. Upon moving to Frederick, she worked at Frederick Florist and later in housekeeping at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She and Ronald Jay Peet were later married on Aug. 13, 2013, in Frederick. She was the private care giver for her Mother until her death on Nov. 28, 2016. She was fun loving and lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband Jay Peet of the home; her father Dr. Michael Clare of Washington; and a sister Paris Jamieson of McCloud, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Rollins and her mother, Jan Slaven.
