Amanda Katherine "Mandy" Platt

Amanda "Mandy" Katherine Platt, 33, of Hesperia, Mich., passed away in a tragic vehicle accident on Friday, March 31, 2023, in Michigan, when she and her daughter were hit by a truck driving over his center line, while impaired.
Born July 20, 1989, in Warren, Ohio, she was the daughter of John Abraham and Anitta Ronnel Moon Platt.
Mandy was a housewife who enjoyed raising her daughter. She loved animals, enjoyed completing sudoku and word-search puzzles. She enjoyed traveling different places with her companion, James, and watching sports with her family, especially Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan football teams.
She is survived by her companion of fifteen years, James Conkright, and her daughter, Raylynn Conkright, both of Michigan; her mother, Anitta Platt, and her sisters, Mary Platt and Denise Platt, all of Butler; her mother-in-law, Boomer Conkright of Michigan; her adoptive parents, whom she loved as family, Kirk and Tabitha Snyder; one niece and one nephew; and maternal grandparents, George and Donna Moon of Portersville.
She was preceded in death by her father, John A. Platt.
PLATT - Visitation for Amanda "Mandy" Katherine Platt, who died Friday, March 31, 2023, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dana Opp, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, officiating.
