Amanda Stegall Swanson Obituary
Amanda Michelle Stegall Swanson, 42, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her residence. Amanda was born December 11, 1974 in Texarkana, Texas. She was Service Manager for Texas Roadhouse for 16 years and Manager of Silver Star Smokehouse for 2 years. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Swanson; one daughter, Alexis Swanson and one son, Cooper Swanson; her mother and father, Sherry and George Stegall; her three sisters and two brothers in-law, Jennifer Klar, Lisa and Craig McDuffie and Emily and James Bright all of Texarkana. Memorial services will be 2:00 p. m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Westside Church of Christ with Steve McIntosh officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p. m. to 2:00 p. m.

I will always love Amanda. She had so much light in her, and never wanted anyone to think that she was feeling bad, really tired, or sick. I do not know how many times I had to tell her to go home after her 1st round of treatments, because I knew she needed to be in bed, but she was very hard headed. She never wanted to put anyone out or anyone saying that she was not doing her job, and for the first round, she worked as hard as anyone else. She was a fighter, a friend, a prayer warrior, full of light, full of life, and would cheer you up in a heartbeat, she is an inspiration, a hero, a mother, wife, a daughter, and she was and will always be a friend. She may not be with us anymore here, but her life did not end. She has just started the new chapter with Jesus. I know she is singing in heaven, and how her eyes glowed when she got to meet Him, and now she is watching over everyone. My deepest condolences for the family. Fly High my beautiful friend.I will see you again one day.
