My Mammee -
They say there is a reason. They say that time will heal. Neither time or reason will change the way I feel. Gone are the days we use to share, but in my heart, you are always there. The gates of memories will never close; I miss you more than anybody knows.
I will love and miss you everyday until the day we meet again.

I will always remember the first time we met passing each other while walking our dogs and you made sure to say hello with such a warm smile. A couple of days later I was jogging by your house with Leo and you yelled down to me from your porch to say hi, and you noticed I was wearing a Specials Forces hat since my sister is retired Air Force. We got to talking and she was the type of person that you just feel connected with, it didn´t feel like a new friendship, it felt like we had been friends forever. I miss our runs at Lake Redman, our early morning summer workouts, deep conversations, your love for animals and nature, babysitting Royal, as well as sharing books, movies, and music that we knew the other would enjoy. You were such a delightful person both inside and out who always shined bright. You will always be in my heart. Love you Vandy

Amanda will always be remembered for her beautiful soul. Her passion for life and living each day to the fullest. Her creativity and compassion for those around her. She loved to travel and meeting new people, she never met a stranger. She is a part of our family tree that will be missed more than she will ever know. Take time out of your day to thank a vet for the sacrifices they have made. Amanda's life should be celebrated for the love and intense energy she brought to everyone she met. I love you Mammy and know one day we will meet again, and you will be in heaven with arms wide open. Forever and always, Quay-Quay
