Amber Gillies

Amber was a dear friend and coworker. We shared a lot of laughs and tears. I miss her.

I have so many fond memories of Amber. Amber was so kind and funny too! If ever I needed help with something ( and I did when I first started) Amber was the one I went to, she would drop whatever she was doing and always helped me. She will be missed.

Amber and I would work together the evening shift sometimes at the newspaper. Our evenings included work, ciggy breaks, and espresso - created by John Iddings, coffee extroadinaire and sarcasm to spare- manning the espresso machine; taking orders and supplying much needed sustenance for many a long night. The first time I met Amber was in las Vegas in 1990 she had won a jack pot and was one big smile.
