Amber Green Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 3, 2018.

Amber Marie Tringale Green, age 48, born December 7, 1969, in Arlington, Va., loving wife of Arthur Green and devoted mother of Alexandra, Rebecca, Kiernan, Mckenzie and Casey, suddenly departed this earthly life at her home in Roanoke, Va., on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Amber is survived by and will forever be cherished in the lives of: her husband and children; her parents Myranda L. Tringale of Roanoke, Va., and Anthony R. Tringale of Front Royal, Va.; her brothers Anthony of Atlanta, Ga., Michael of Washington, D.C., and Mark of Leesburg, Va.; and a host of devoted and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and pets.

Amber attended St. Leo the Great elementary and middle school, Bishop Denis J. O’Connell high school, and George Mason University where she studied communications and marketing. Through her life-long career she is recognized as a “dot.com” pioneer. From a humble start working from her “home office,” she eventually claimed a leading role in the infant years of the Internet beginning in 1996 when she founded WEBSML, one of the earliest developers of online e-commerce. Over the past 22 years Amber also served as a consultant with leading international hi-tech and e-commerce leaders worldwide.

Amber had a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ that shined through in everything she did and everyone she touched. She was an active member of Faith Fellowship Church in Wirtz, Va., where she regularly worshiped with her family.

There will be a visitation on Friday, July 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakey’s South Chapel, 4257 Brambleton Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24018. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, 100 Wirtz Road, Wirtz, VA 24184, with a reception immediately following on-site. Family and friends are encouraged to help make this celebration a joyful and colorful remembrance of Amber’s unique and enduring love of life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Brain Injury Services of Southwest Virginia (www.bisswva.org).

I'm shocked that I only just got news of this about this a few weeks ago. I met amber probably more than 15 years ago, spent time with her about 4 or 5 times a year for quite a few years after that, and she was always so sweet, positive, and warm. Super friendly and helpful to everyone. I'm so sorry for the grief of her family and her other friends, and I'm so glad I had a chance to know her. God bless.

I just found out about Amber's passing and I'm sad beyond words. I met Amber almost 20 years ago and from the first moment she was one of the most beautiful, warmest, kindest, and welcoming people I've ever met. I wish I knew what happened to my dear friend. My deepest condolences to everyone in her family and close friends. If heaven exists, she's definitely there. RIP Amber.

It's been nearly 20 years since we met, and I've always known Amber to be sweet, kind, funny and smart, as well as such a giving person. I'm stunned to hear she is gone, and I hope that her spirit will help her family get through this time.

My sincere condolences. Amber took my daughter in many nights when our kids were in high school. I recently connected with her and Alex at the mall and we chatted for almost 20 minutes. It was great to see them again. My love to the family during this time.

We were supposed to grow very old together and be by each other's side through it all. I still can't believe you're not here with us. I long to see your face and hear your laugh even just one more time. The only reason I am remotely getting through this time is knowing you are with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom you love with all your heart. A feast has indeed been prepared for you my dear sister. The words and sentiments by friends and family all point to the exemplary woman you were and how deeply you touched lives; the only way you knew how to be. We are all blessed to have known you and loved you. Keep an eye out on all of us from Heaven, particularly our dear Arthur and your beautiful children. Until we meet again I will carry your heart in mine.

Amber will be truly missed by anyone who knew her. It really didn't matter who you were or where you came from...running into Amber would certainly brighten your day. Amber had a constant smile, gave huge meaningful hugs, truly listened to people and was a ridiculously loyal friend. She was REAL in a world full of FAKE...and those who met her loved her for that immediately. These are the things I most admire about her...will remember her for...and aspire myself to be. Amber, we love you and miss you. "Right on!" Mark

I have known Amber since I was 18 years old. I only knew her in brief moments of interactions through mutual friends, but any moment with Amber was enough to teach me about strength, resilience and grace. Her forthright nature came from a place of deep integrity and authenticity, and, as dumb as it sounds, I'm thankful to have been able to keep up with her life through Facebook. To see Amber and Arthur come full circle and find true love with each other again made my heart leap for joy. I, too, am a Christian, and like our faith teaches us, this is not all there is. If that is real, then I look forward to a time when I can sit with Amber again and learn from her fierce compassion. I'm sure there are so many lessons I could still learn from her. My heart and prayers are with you and your children, Arthur. I'm so heartbroken with you, and I'm here if you need anything.
