RACINE - Amberzine 'Dolly' (nee: Weck) Hoffmann, 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on August 28, 1920. Dolly had been united in marriage to Marvin Larson, who preceded her in death. She later married Frank Hoffmann. She was a past member of Christ Church United Methodist. She then became an active member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Dolly was a Teacher's Aide, working with children with physical disabilities at Wadewitz School. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and camping with family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Dolly is survived by son, James Larson; three step-children, Carol Ann (John) Ziemelis, Karen (Dean) Theos, and John (Ruth) Hoffmann, all of Racine; 12 grandchildren, Theresa and Jacob Wipperman, Clarice Wass, Jeffrey (Shelly) and Lyle (Miriam) Ziemelis, Stacie (Joseph) Fiedor, Philip Theos, Vanessa (David) Casper, and Steven, Randahl, Nicholas, and Kyle Hoffmann; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, and Carissa Casper, Julia and Jenna Ziemelis, Steven and Alyssa Hoffmann, and Lauren and Hannah Fiedor; sister-in-law, Mrs. James Hoffmann; and son-in-law, Dan Wipperman. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Larson and Frank Hoffmann; and her daughter, Jean Wipperman. Funeral services will be held at Hanson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2005, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Walter Hermanns officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday before services from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials in Dolly's memory to Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 West 6th Street, Racine, Wis. 53405, have been suggested by the family.
