Our earthly loss is heavens gain. You will be greatly missed Amy. Our love and prayers to your family.

I will miss Amy so much. She was such a kind and helpful person. My Shenandoah ancestors come to light thanks to Amy and her many books. Also I am so thankful for Amy including my Druck/Trook family in her book "The Grandparents". I will never forget her.

I knew Amy only through correspondence, but valued her assistance so highly. She was always helpful and guided rather than corrected when I made an error. We are richer for having had her presence on the list; we shall surely miss her.

I want to express my condolences to Amy's family. I never met Amy, but we corresponded for years. We had similar research interests in a genealogical line. She was always the most helpful and kind, especially when I was just beginning. Without her many books, I would never have gotten as far with my research pursuits. Amy will be sorely missed in the genealogy community. Amy, I hope you find the answers to all your questions and that all your brick walls fall.

I am honored to have been one of Amy's friends. All of us who are involved in Shenandoah County genealogy will never forget the wonderful lady who compiled deeds and wills into books to make our ancestral searches easier.
