Amelia Hester Obituary
Age 93, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007. Lifelong Lockport resident.
She is survived by her loving family, four daughters, Mary Ann (David) Hester Werner, Kathleen Herighty, Patricia Hester and Colleen (Dan) Erickson; six grandchildren, Erin and Patrick Werner, Jeff and Sean Bechtel, Steven and Jennifer Erickson.
Amelia was a member of St. Dennis Church, Lockport, Altar and Rosary Society, Lockport VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil P. Hester; a granddaughter, Jacquelyn T. Erickson (2006); her parents, August and Agnes (nee Hearighty) Brown; her brothers, William (Charlotte) Brown and August Brown; a sister, Mildred (John) Marco.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 3-8PM. Prayer service Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 9:30am in the funeral home chapel following to St. Dennis Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children Inc. 4205 Dover Rd. Richmond, VA 23221-3267.
