She was loved so much by my late mother (Alice Risk) and by many others. Mom always talked about how wonderful she she to her and how well they got along. My condolences to the Joseph's on the loss of your Aunt Meme. I know she was a big part of your family and that you will all miss her very much.

It's obvious from the pictures she touched many lives over the years - including mine. As one of the kids growing up in the "Gaza" and hanging around Kay's in the 60's and 70's you couldn't help but get to know Amelia. She was small but mighty and knew how to keep us brats in line and anyone else that may have staggered in from the Steel City and got out of hand. I guess that toughness helped her reach 101 - well done Meme.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Meme will be missed by the many friends and family that loved her. She would want everyone to celebrate her love of life and family.

A memory to share, I made fatayres at her home and was told to wear the 'hair cap' as it was Meme's rule and everyone had to cover their hair. We all did and looked beautiful! Meme loved to have her kitchen full of action and everyone was welcome.

Beautiful Aunt Meme, we were so blessed to have known her. We will miss her dearly but we will remember her fondly and smile when we do. I may not have all the details accurate but I love the story about Meme getting a 20 year or so warranty on her hot water tank...I think she was around 95! Classic! Sending lots of prayers and love to all the Joseph clan....we were truly fortunate to have known this amazing woman Love Jim and Debbie MacRury xo

I was one of the lucky ones who got to make the famous fatiyres with Meme. Joining Val and Danny, Meme did her best to show me the technique and she needed to use her patience as I was a little slow especially in comparison to her deft hands and sure movements. It is a memory that I keep close to my heart. My sympathies to her family and friends.

Sincerest condolences to the Joseph family. A well respected lady who excelled in all she did. I had the pleasure of meeting her and was surprised (and not) of her firey ways. Bless you for your independence and for all you were involved with during your time on earth. You are a treasure who will be missed by all who've known you. I am humbled to have gotten the opportunity to meet through Darlene and Mabel. RIP Amelia.
