CUMBO Amos Cumbo, age 81, of Gahanna, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2012. He was born in Inez, KY on January 6, 1931 to the late Kelley and Corda Cumbo. Amos was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Gahanna Historical Society and Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #189. He loved spending time with family along with fishing, bowling, and camping. In addition to his parents, Amos was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Jama Cumbo; and siblings, Pauline, Geneva, and Marie. He leaves behind his loving children, Jon (Brenda), Dan (Ruby), Deborah (Jack) Jones, and Sarah (Scott) Thatcher; siblings, Kelley, Andy, William, Dean, Josephine, Charles, and Stewart; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Ministers Don Treadway and Ralph Price officiating. Interment at Mifflin Cemetery. Contributions in Amos' memory may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 793 W State St., Columbus, OH 43222-9988. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mt.
