My Nan and Pap took care of me for a crucial part of my life. My Pap was never mean to me, and always stood up for me and believed in what i had to say. I can remember being little and sleeping with his work shirts because they smelled like him. We all knew he was going to leave us soon, but Saturday night i dont think i really realized how soon than was. I want him back, and i know that is selfish...but i can't help it. I regret not making a more conscouis effort to know his stories and memories. He lives on in my heart and soon, my skin. May God rest his soul and watch over my Nan when i can't be there.

To My Dear Family,
I was blessed to have such a wonderful father-in-law. I always joked around with Amos telling him that I was his favorite Daughter-in-law. He was never grouchy with me and treated me with respect. Why? Because I was his favorite! I'll miss terribly!
