Stella R. Chapa age 93 of Lytle, Texas passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas.
Stella is preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Manuela Rodriguez; husband, Henry G. Chapa Sr.; daughter, Mary Guerra; son, Henry Chapa Jr.; Son-in-laws, Guadalupe Bustamante, Chris Sepulveda; brothers and sisters, Julian, Sophia, Anita, Venancio, Juanita, Gergorio, Eloisa, Ernesto, Benito, Lucia.
Stella is survived by her sons, Van Chapa (Beth) of San Antonio, Texas; Patrick J Chapa (Linda) of Lytle, Texas; Michael Chapa (Janine) of Georgetown, Texas; Mark Chapa (Anna) Center Point, Texas; daughters, Bertha Bustamante of Lytle, Texas; Connie Sepulveda of Devine, Texas; Carolyn Hernandez (Santos) of San Antonio, Texas; daughter-in-law, Jeri Chapa of Denver, CO; sister, Sr. Joan Elise Rodriguez; Twenty-Two, Grandchildren; Twenty-Six, Great-Grandchildren; Six, Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2016 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel of Lytle at 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Interment to follow in the Lytle Community Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home, 14822 Main Street, Lytle, Texas 78052 (830) 709-0698.
