My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. May you find some peace amidst the tears; a lil joy somehow amidst the pain. Amys' smile was like a beacon of light. She shone so bright! Thats the Amy I will always remember. May God, our Heavenly Father wrap you up in his loving arms and carry all of you safely through this most difficult time. We will all meet up again. Im thankful to have been blessed enough to have seen that beautiful smile of hers more than once.

Some of my sweetest memories are the adventures I had with Amy--singing (shouting) Smashing Pumpkins songs in the car together in high school, driving cross-country together in college, eating lobster on the cape the day John John's plane crashed, celebrating each others weddings, and of course, the excitement of surrounding the birth of her two girls, and my son, Asby (who was born just one day too late for me to tell her about). She defined friendship for me and I'm a better person for having known her.

Matt, Amelia, Finley, Rita, Ron, Dan, Dennis and Don - Sasha and I are thinking of all of you and sharing your loss. Amy was a great person. I will miss her every day.

To Don and The Barda and Buehrer families: There are no words that will take the sorrow and pain away. I wish you all peace knowing that the world is a better place because of Amy. I am thankful for her and I hope others will strive to be like her in life. Thanks to Amy many will live on! Ralph Waldo Emerson on the definition of a successful life.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because
you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

May God's peace surround the Barda/Buehrer families, like a cozy blanket on a cool autumn night. Amy's legacy is like a candle which lost nothing by lighting another ... and will live on in her 2 beautiful daughters with the guidance of her husband. We pray for strength, patience and faith for the families in the coming months which will prove to be trying but rewarding in the long term. God bless...
