I had the great honor and privilege of meeting Amy at the Hospital in March of 2023. She was my favorite patient to work with. A kind, strong, and fierce woman that fought vigorously for our country. I always enjoyed the days I got to see her and really loved our long discussions regarding female rights and gender equality. She is one of the strongest patients and people I have ever met. I will miss her dearly.

I don´t know how to write this- my condolences to all of you - Joe, Amanda, Emily - her grandchildren and sisters - on your loss. They say you take those people who are important to you for granted and that is certainly true for me with the loss of my best friend, my soul sister Amy. A part of me is gone - my best friend and confidant. The one who always had a way of dragging me along with things outside of my comfort zone because she loved to live life to the fullest and to heck with rules or what others think (thanks Joe for allowing Amy to make those crazy tank tops for the Carolina Country Music Fest we all had to wear!). Never imagined a moment without Amy in my life to share the joys, tears and milestones. She was usually the first one I´d call -I could go on and write a book. I plan to do just that because I don´t want to forget anything. Please know that my life was forever changed the day she got her wings. Hugs to all of you.

Amy´s love and caring warmed so many hearts. Her love will always shine down on all of her family as she watches over you all.
She will Always be in our hearts .
Aunt Shirley (My Mom) and I were very grateful for Amy´s love and care she shared when helping us out , as she did for so, so many.
She will be deeply missed . One of the memories I will always hold onto and cherish are the thoughts of how Amy would talk about My Mom´s love for tennis and how she enjoyed sitting and watching together with her. Also how she liked listening to the stories Mom shared with her about her Life. Thanks for being such a Great Helper, Listener and a Wonderful Person Amy.

It's sad to me that I dont have any pictures of us in my phone. But I take that as I was fully present whenever with you. Looking back and reflecting, you were one of the most calm yet stern people ive ever met. I will never forget you teaching me how to parallel park or shooting bows with you and all the bonfires and cookouts at the neighborhood parties we got to share with you. You got to watch me along with many others grow up and help lead us through many obstacles we faced, and even got to meet my son, how crazy is that. Your companionship with animals was always very much noticed and loved about you, I am fully convinced that is one of the core fundamentals on you and my mom's deep friendship. You will be missed dearly and forever in our hearts.
P.S. ill never forget the trick you showed me on how to put a stick between someone's legs and lift to make them go wherever you want! ;)
Rest easy Amy. Keep an eye on everyone down here, can't wait to see you again soon.

I am so sorry for your loss. Amy was so charitable and kind. She sewed small hearts for some babies in the NICU when I asked her to help. She had a voracious appetite for reading. She was in my book club and always had insightful things to share on the subjects. She is missed.
