Amy C Mosier

Amy C. Mosier, age 70, passed away Wed., Sept. 7, 2022, in Stuart, FL due to complications from her ongoing cancer treatment.

Amy Elizabeth Crowthers was born on May 23, 1952, in Salisbury, MD to Will R. Crowthers, Jr. and Nina (Agnew) Crowthers. She spent her childhood living in Delaware, North Carolina, and Tennessee due to her father's job with DuPont. She was a graduate of Concord High School in Wilmington, DE, class of 1970. She returned to Nashville, TN, where she lived for over 40 years. In 1975, she married William "Pat" Mosier, Jr. and together they raised their sons, who were the pride and joy of her life.

As a girl, Amy loved playing basketball, attending school, and visiting her grandparents in Pittsburgh. Some of her fondest memories were her summers selling cotton candy at the beach in Ocean City, NJ and waitressing in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Her mother-in-law taught her much about cooking and baking and Amy became known for her delicious fudge pies. She worked as a Sales Coordinator for forklift companies and retired from MHR in 2017. In 2018, Amy moved to Stuart, FL, to live near her brother. She loved grilling out under the bridge, word searches, eating all-you-can-eat crab legs, and taking walks by the ocean to collect seashells. Her retirement may have been short, but it was sweet.

The name Amy means 'beloved', and that she was. She delighted in being "Namy" to her five grandchildren. Her sons were with her in her final days and were by her side as she took her last breath.

She is survived by her sons, Eric (Chelli) Mosier, Adam (Becca) Mosier; siblings Casey Crowthers, Will "Toby" (Viki) Crowthers III, Susan (Steve) Helton; grandchildren, Destiny, Journey, and Maddox Mosier, and Harper and Hayden Mosier; cousins, nieces, and nephews; and other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Amy will always be remembered as a fun-loving, free-spirited person with a contagious smile and laugh.
