Barb, it was many, many years ago, on this New Year’s Eve, that we came to a party at you & Amy’s home in Montague. We were the last to leave that night & had such a nice conversation with the two of you. The evening was one we have always remembered. We hope you are doing well now. Thinking of you this NYEve, 2020. Wishing you a Happy(er) New Year, 2021.

I always enjoyed any professional development opportunity that Amy was a part of. She had a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful way of sharing it. She radiated positive energy and will be truly missed by many.

It was more then a pleasure to get to know Amy over the last couple of years!! I am beyond blessed that I was able to become friends with both Amy and Barb. What a wonderful lady who had such a love for people and life! She shared and taught me so much and I will forever be grateful! My thoughts and prayers with you Barb.

Amy worked with my colleagues and me for in-service trainings. She was always warm, supportive and genuine. Her knowledge of children and the writing process was inspiring. Her humor, friendliness, and caring made her a joy to know. Sincerest condolences.

Amy was as authentic as they come. By living her truth and sharing her passion, she enabled others to do the same. We were lucky to have her and know her in our school district. She will be remembered fondly.

Rest in peace for a woman I totally admired and brought joy to my life when I drummed with her years ago. Still have the drums I bought from her and the rhythm of her drumming in my heart.

Such sad news for us here on earth. I have faith knowing she is now pain free and teaching all the angels in heaven today!

So sorry to hear about the loss for you Barb and the Muskegon Education world. She made an impact on so many children and teachers in our community

Amy is now free from pain, she is healed. She dances, drums, sings with all those who are one with God and all God's creation. Barb, may you find peace in this knowledge while memories bring you comfort. May God's arms of healing & peace wrap around you!
