My cousin, Amy, was my oldest of us cousins. I remember her mostly attending college and reading alot. She was older than I by quite a number of years. I did, however , have the joy of enjoying penny candy at TW and Mabels store on 38th street.

She loved her gardens and squirrels and birds . They enjoyed being watched over and fed by her. 3836 15th Ave. So. will never be the same to our family.

My cousin Amy and I grew up together above our general store in Lancaster MN before they moved to 38th street -- I really missed her as it was like losing a sister. Later we attended UM at the same time, she getting her MA. Betty Smith Patterson

We lived on 39th street and 14th ave. I remember her and her parents store. I would go there when the "Duncan YO YO" salesman would come and give a demo of yo yo tricks. We had to buy a yo yo so we could learn the tricks. Karl Kampf age 74
