Amy Suthers 1926 - 2008 NORTH ADAMS Amy Dorothy Hartman Suthers 81, of 93 Cleveland Ave. Apt#34, died Sunday Oct. 12, at the North Adams Regional Hospital. She was born in Pittsfield, Ma. on Nov. 1, 1926, daughter of Charles and Geneva Richards Hartman. She attended schools in Lenox and North Adams. She was first employed at the Clark Biscuit Co. in North Adams and was last employed at the Sprague Electric Co., retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed Bingo, reading and gardening. Her husband Edward Frederick Suthers whom she married April 28, 1951 in St. Francis Church died Sept. 20, 2006. She leaves two Daughters; Catherine L. Aparicio, of Silver Spring, Md., and Brenda L. Bard of North Adams, one Son, Michael Edward Suthers, of Lisbon Falls, Maine, five grandchildren, Daniel and Chad Suthers, Alexander and Edward Aparicio and Craig Bard, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and two Sisters, Charles, William, Francis, Russell, Paul, and Richard Hartman and Helen Lemaire, and Doris McPherson. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
