André GRIGNON Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at the age of 87. Son of the late Éliza Vinet and the late Alphonse Grignon. Loving husband of Dorothy Neville for 63 years. Cherished and caring father of Michèle, Claude and Marc (Karen McLean). Dear brother of Thérèse Gratton (Julien), Aline Atkins, and Louise Beaupré. Brother-in-law of Claire Frederickson (Cedric), Irene Abrams (Norman), William Neville (Suzanne) and the late Gilbert Neville (the late Ilona) and the late Theresa McGuire (the late Kevin). Survived by many nieces and nephews. André was a graduate of Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, Business Administration from McGill University, and Environmental Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. He was also a Certified Management Accountant. Throughout his career, he worked at Bell Canada for 17 years and subsequently for the Federal Government of Canada, where he occupied a number of senior positions in different departments until retirement. Friday, October 18th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service Saturday, October 19th to Notre Dame Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive for Mass of Christian Funeral at 9 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Rd. For those wishing, donations to a charity of choice are appreciated.
