Andre "Andy" Joseph Boudreau, 88, of Manchester, passed away on September 9, 2023, at his residence.
Andy was born on March 22, 1935, in Manchester. He was the son of Henry and Lucille (Martel) Boudreau. He attended St George Elementary and graduated from Brown Elementary. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1953 where he worked as an airframe repairman and was honorably discharged in 1957. He then went to work for Pepsi Cola where he retired after 25 years as the maintenance manager. Andy was a member of the American Legion Jutras Post 43. He volunteered with the American Red Cross' Disaster Action Team and Disaster Services Human Resources Group. He also volunteered with the Veterans Administration Hospital, Manchester.
Survivors include his longtime girlfriend, Claire Boucher; two daughters Danette Akey and Phyllis Boudreau and her husband Kerry Pranke; five grandchildren and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Daniel Boudreau, a brother Alphonse and his wife Anne Boudreau and a sister Theresa Gilchrist.
A gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester on Friday, September 22nd from 11 to Noon. A graveside service with military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Following the cemetery service, a celebration of Andy's life will be held at the American Legion Jutras Post 43, 56 Boutwell St., Manchester.
