Though I did not know Andre prior to his passing; I feel as though I know him now. He and my daughter, Tessa, were special friends. I'm watching her endure such pain through his tragic death. I am thankful that Andre had such a positive impact on her life; he left many memories for her to hold dear. I am praying for God's peace and guidance for his entire family and circle of friends as they work through the grief of it all. To all, it's important to know beyond a shadow of doubt that God is in control no matter what's thrown in our path. God is big and Andre has had the Joy of finding that out now - he's in good hands. I pray for any person reading this who does not know what it is to have a "life-changing" relationship with Jesus that he or she seeks Him and finds Him and begins to know Him. Here's to you Dre.............I think you've flown to Jesus.

I know it may sound hard but God shared him with you and he was such a Blessing. My son has always told me, “Mom, if someone ever is the reason that my life is taken, please forgive that person. Please do not hold a grudge. Mom, just know that it would be nobody’s fault, but that everyone’s days on this earth are numbered.” I wonder how I could ever do that, if that should ever happen. Andre, as everyone gathers for you today, I will be there for you in spirit. I'll be thinking of you and all of the laughter and joy you brought to this world. I know you are looking down on everyone with hopefully a smile on your face as you see how many lives you have touched. It's just terrible to see you leave us so soon. I didnt know Andre that well but I do know one thing, He made the statemnet "big things come in small packages", so true. He was small but tough, short but fast, fun but smart! I dont know many things about andre, but I do know he loved the people around him. If any of his friends called him for ANTYTHING he was there in a second. He would face the biggest guy in a crowd just to defend one of his friends! He makes me truely believe that looks are so decieving!May god be with all Andre's family and freinds during this hard time!

Andre, I cherish the years your family lived next door to ours. We weren't just neighbors, we were friends. For so many years, just about everyday, I could expect a knock on the door, and it would be you. I know your mom can say the same about Matt. You and Matt were two peas in a pod, with your love for wrestling, soccer, sports in general, you were the best of friends. You both had so much energy, and never sat still for long, always up to something. Kayla wanted to be a part of whatever you and Matt were doing. She adored you. Andre you were such a part of our lives, for so long. Even though its been years since those days, they will never be forgotten. The last time I saw you, you were so grown up, so handsome, and still the same sweet Andre. We will cherish all the wonderful memories we have of you. You will never leave us, because you are a part of us. I love you Andre. Till we meet again.

The two of you were inseperable! From the day I was old enought to go outside and play the two of you were always the people I wanted to play with. Everyday I drive past your old house I always think of you and your family and how close we all were. Even after you moved and I would see you it felt just like old times. I loved going to BC and playing soccer with you and the boys. Part of the reason I became the soccer player that I was, was because of you. I remember the first time I met Andre. It was at a valentines day party 3 yrs ago, I was standing next to my friend and Andre looked at me and just smiled.. I smiled back at him, and he came up to me and he started talking to me like we've been friends for years. after that night we became friends. I'll never forget how he would always get mad at me for the littlest things ever, he'd delete me from facebook, myspace and text me saying "dont talk to me im mad" and a couple hrs later he'll text me saying "lets hangout".. I'm going to miss the little things about him. The way he would smile and just brighten up my day. I'll miss him calling me at 2 am bugging me to wake up and talking about the most randomest things ever. He's always going to be in my heart, and he's always going to be a beautiful angel watching down on all of us. We'll NEVER forget you andre.. I miss you so much, and love you too! There wont be a day I dont wish we could go back to last spring break. At least 8 of us crammed in your little apartment just having the times of our life. I never have been able to rap a song but I swear I could rap Police and Brooklyn Girls in my sleep because of how much you played them. Then came the night times when would always try to find a party but some how we always just ended back at your apartment, but I actully liked it better that way; I had my bestfriends and thats all i needed. I will listen for your truck to pull up to the the walnutt house everyday and think of Chase saying "watch he will walk in singing" and sure enough you were rapping something new everyday. Then while we were all watching movies in the living room, you would sit in the kitchen the whole time acting like your were on the computer but you knew what was going on in every conversation and sure enough every ten mintues you would pop your head in to tell me to shut up or tell Putt that he smells. I love you Dre very much and this is the biggest tradgedgy we will ever indure. The boys are broken hearted...I can barely even stand seeing their pain. You will always be with us Dre. Watch over us and take care of the boys forever.

I will never forget Andre. When i first met him, about 4 years ago. he was only 16 and was this little ball of energy. I had the pleasure of watching him grow up into a young man for the last 4 years, working for his parents. I still remember every time Alma & Louis would talk to me about him & what he was up to. HIs wrestleing matches, his highschool soccer games, his gradutaion, him moving to San Luis Obispo and living on his own, his new truck, his many times gettng his cell taken away form Alma or even his first tattoo when Alma and Louis found out. I remember when Alma was looking for his truck for his graduation. I rememeber when he would come into the office with his best friend and ask me for all kinds of stuff. And i remember when i helped him with some essays he needed for high school. The best part of Andre i knew and still know is he was a great brother and son. I remember the last time i saw him, he bought me and his dad lunch at the office and i was laughing with him on the phone because he was lost and couldn't find the restaurant.

May Andre rest in peace and may God watch over him always. He willhold a very special place in my heart. My prayers and condolances go out to all his family and friends.

I feel the pain and the loss also. Lil Andre was like a nephew to me and i was so proud of all the acomplishments he made in such a short life. As i look at the picture posted of him as a lil boy, i remember so much of him at that age. what i remember most was when he would wake me up in the mornings by slaping me on the head and running away. I'd get up chasing him and when i caught him, he would yell, "im sorry,im sorry!" But i knew he was'ent cause he would do it everyday. I talked to him afew months ago and reminded him about it,he just laughed and said ,"I rememberd". He kept Big Andre and Myself pretty busy when he was little.He will always be in my heart and the memories i have of him i'll charish forever, till we meet again. I love you Lil Dre!
